Following is the update for ocean freight rates for shipping coconut shell charcoal briquettes for hookah use. Our prices, valid through March 2025, show current market rates, specifically for shisha charcoal.

Please note that shisha charcoal is shipped not as “general goods” but is treated by shipping lines as “DG – dangerous goods” while not based on SHT and MSDS.

In general, that means that not all shipping lines and not all vessels can accept shisha charcoal for delivery. Moreover, the process of container staffing is very different compared to the general goods.

For example, to book with MSC (Medeterrian Shipping Corporation)- one of the largest shipping companies in the world requires 2 weeks (two weeks) pre-approval. So your goods should be ready and packed, and only then can you book the vessel at least two (!!!) weeks before the vessel departure date.

Plus you have to process SHT, ROA, and Vanning, to get approval for the shipment. This is all costs additional money. And do not forget about the thermal blanket too.

The shipping price can be very different due to the different handling and processing by shipping lines. Not only is the price different, but not all vessels are allowed to accept DG goods, so the shipping schedule is much more limited compared with general goods.

Our factory is fully licensed and regularly exports shisha charcoal to the USA, Canada, Australia, Turkey, Germany, Czechia, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, South Korea, and other countries. We provide each shipment with a Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origine, Invoice, and Packing list.

We are an FA-audited factory (by Independen Laboratory Beckjorindo, Carsurin). We can provide MSDS, SHT, Vanning, and other related documents for shipping shisha charcoal documents.

As we have a high volume of shipping, we get the lowest shipping prices through direct bookings with MSC, OOCL, Vasi, SITC, Emirates, CMA CGM and Asyad shipping lines.

All our shipments are official declarations as “coconut charcoal” on the bill of lading. Please note that port-to-port quotes only – import/inland transportation at destination remains the buyer’s responsibility. Also, THC (terminal handling charges, documents, admin fee, and telex release fee, their blanket, vanning, independent surveyor, SHT, and Vanning are not included in the prices below.
